올해부터 적용 가능한 38차 국제 위험물 해상운송 규정에 따라서 다음과 같이 위험물 표시 기준이 일부 변경

되었습니다. 내년(2018)부터 강제화 하여 시행되나 올해부터 관련기준 적용이 가능하기 때문에 이미 업계에서는

변경된 라벨을 부착하여 수출을 하고 있는 경우도 많이 있습니다.

  또한 라벨 형태 중 내부의 실선 두께가 2 mm 로 좀 더 두꺼워졌습니다. IMDG Code 뿐만 아니라 항공 위험물의

국제규정에서도 동일하게 적용되어 올해 1월 1일 부터 시행되고 있습니다. 이에 대해서 정확한 규정을 다음과 같이

발췌하여 정리하였습니다.

5.2.2.2.1.1.3   If the size of the package so requires the dimensions may be reduced, provided the symbols

                and other elements of the label remain clearly visible. The line inside the edge shall remain

                5 mm to the edge of the label. The minimum width of the line inside the edge shall remain 2 mm.

                Dimensions for cylinders shall comply with 5.2.2.2.1.2.

             NOTE: The provisions of 5.2.2.2.1.1 of the IMDG Code (Amendment 36-12) may continue to be applied

                    until 31 December 2016. When so applied, 5.2.2.2.1.1.1, 5.2.2.2.1.1.2 and 5.2.2.2.1.1.3

                    shall not apply until 31 December 2016."
